What a great start to the year! My first award as an insurance advisor. I am very thankful to @eespiritufinancial @humaniaassurance and @yvrtay for the recognition and the very beautiful award. I am immensely thankful to my clients for their trust in me. I am thankful for soon-to-be clients for their curiosity in bettering their future financially with the services I provide. It was the annual kickoff event for E.Espiritu Financial Inc. and I feel very honoured and lucky to be a part of this company. A celebratory Christmas party with my E. Espiritu Financial family held at Guilford Golf & Country Club. Everything was great from the food, the karaoke, the dancing and most of all the company. Bonding time between brokers and wholesalers truly forges stronger relationships which is a gift in itself.

Once upon a time, I got featured at my agency’s IG stories. I took screenshots to memorialize a snapshot of “me in my early days as an advisor”. Maria Jotie @kitjotie helms the incredible mentorship of this growing AGA and the camaraderie between the advisors is something akin to a big family dynamic. We welcome new agents to join us and more importantly we welcome new clients to experience our holistic approach in the great service we provide.

Aim to have a permanent insurance over term whenever possible. If you currently have term in place, the earlier you can convert to permanent, the better. To have guaranteed premiums and be insured for the rest of your life with an added bonus of cash value, makes this type of insurance the better choice. There are different types of permanent insurance, some are even considered a unique asset class. I will be posting about the definition of the different types soon. Stay tuned!

Consider getting Term Life Insurance if you have a limited budget. This is a great option over getting a mortgage insurance as it can cover other expenses such as debt, tuition, funeral expenses and other living expenses. Unlike permanent insurance, term does not act as a savings vehicle. Term is ideal to get in your 20’s or 30’s when you generally have less health concerns which makes for more affordable premiums.

Who will you designate to be the beneficiary of your life insurance policy? These are one of the many points to ponder when getting insurance. Insurance truly is the last love letter to those you care for. Its power to create wealth legacies is truly undeniable.

I often get asked this question and rather than replying “now”, this is another variation of a practical answer.
